acekard again!!!

ok the boys dsi is 1.4e firmware
tried using the firmware as suggested in several u tube videos with no good result
the akaio1.5 intructions i got via pm did not work the dsi would not recognise the card
put the 4.17 firmware of the acekard site and i got the black screen power off message
please help folks

 

You need to upgrade the Acekard with the DSi 1.4 fix.
To do this you need a DS Lite or a DSi with 1.3

Download this 1.4 fix
http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/dl.php/AceKard_2i_firmware_v1.4.zip

Extract the files and put the DS Lite or DSi version of the update onto your flashcart. Use the DS Lite version if you are updating on a DS Lite, use the DSi version if you are updating on a DSi with 1.3

You must have another DS because your current one will not let you boot up the Acekard, which is required to run the update.

 

You need to update something other than the firmware...

But to run it you'd need a ds/dsi that isn't running 1.4.



So get the firmware on the acekard, then with another ds, run the app.

all i know is the ds lite i have has 2 magenta screens ie v5? not sure what that is folks

 

Run the DS Lite Acekard 1.4 update.

 

I don't think that matters...that's only if you flash the system which is no longer needed.

So it's safe to do this.

Put the update on it like you would a game.
Then you put the acekard in your DS Lite and run the update just like you would run a game.
