AceKard 2i

Yes, so I was wondering whether or not I should get an AceKard, mainly so I can play the HGSS games on it. And the card I have right now, the original R4, isn't that good. Is DealExtreme a legit site to get it from?

Yes is a good choose.
But i believe that the pokemon games still have some problems enve in acekard... something about "antipiracy" U know.
But don't worry... it will be fine soon

The acekard 2/2i plays HG/SS clean (no patch needed) without any kind of problem, you just have to use the alternative AKAIO 1.6 RC1 firmware, there have been complains of freezing issues on 1.5 and 1.5.1 but 1.6 RC1 was out almost the same time as the roms.

if you are going to get an Acekard2i, don't use the official firmware, but get the AKAIO firmware. 1.6rc1 atm i believe. Thats the one with support for HGSS and is updated for new games.
