Acekard 2i - showing on selection screen but black screen and error appearing

I picked up my acekard again after 2 months, haven't done any updates on my 3DS or DSi and suddenly my acekard 2i isn't working. It appears fine on the main screen (appearing as the horse game) but I get the black screen error when I load it.

Any help?

 

Normally try to format, try to delete some games roms, try to update the card.

Or it is the end of the natural life of the card.

 

Tried formatting twice and hasn't worked....I will remove a few more games and see what happens.
Probably is that the card has simply died..had it for about 2 years or so x)
