Acekard 2i Question

    This'll probably get answered right out and closed out by a mod. But is the 2i the equivalent of a 2.1 cartridge but with DSi functionality built into it? I ordered one for my NDS Lite, but I plan to upgrade to a DSi very soon. Anyone know the answer?

    I have the 2.1, and from what I know, the firmware updates are shared between the 2...


    It's because the 2.1 is just built to work around the dsi...provided the dsi isn't upgraded, meaning it will work more often...

    Basically, I ordered the 2i just before the weekend hit and it should get here by Friday. But I'm getting forced to go to Gamestop by the 12th of this month so I can get the additional credit for trading in my DS Lite up to a DSi. So I was just making sure.

    Yes, they aren't that much different between the 2 and 2.1. It shouldn't matter overall on the functionality of the DSi version.
