Acekard 2i not working on dsi xl

Hi, I know there have been more topics about this but you are not meant to upgrade your dsi to 1.4 but the xl already comes as ver 1.4E

So that when I press the ak button on the xl the error message shows. How can I fix this other than using another ds. Please help thank you.

 

Well you will have to run an update on your Acekard 2i on a DS Phat, Lite or DSi with firmware less than 1,4

thanks but i've done all that. 1 more question what version will my xl become if i update the system, it is currently 1.4.
