And it wasn't during a firmware update. Anyway, got my new AK, put Akaio 1.9.0 on it, tossed some games on. Card was working perfectly. Put pokemon Black 2 on, doesn't start. Restart the DSi, and instead of launching Black 2 I bring up the cheats menu and activate the game enabler code. Start. Nothing. Sticks on loading screen, again. Let it set a couple minutes because I needed to go get something to drink, come back, still on the loading screen so I turn the DS off. Neither of my DSi's are detecting the card now. Brand new Acekard, so it's not contact issues. Not a fake either, checked the security/whatever code and it was good. Is it possiable to unbrick this using a DSi? I have another card (A first release DSTwo, it's damaged but it still works.) Edit - I'm assuming the brick was because the new akaio loaders require a different cluster size to load large roms. Combining that, and the enabler code, probably messed it up.
All of the guides I've seen has speciified a DS or DSL, not the DSi because it lacks card swap. (You can swap out a card in the ds/dsl and it would automaticaly detect it, on the dsi you need to restart the system first.)
