So Im thinking of finnaly upgrading from my R4SDHC to Acekard2i, mostly cuz R4 is way to complicated to update with alternate firmwares and also cuz I picked up a DSiXL. Is Acekard 2i a good card? Can it play new games like Inazuma and Pokemon White without having to fiddle with firmwares and file downloads. It was so annoying when doing this with the R4. Post Merge: [time]1300170796[/time] Also, will it matter that when I got my DSiXL I updated to latest OFW?
Acekard 2i are one of the best flashcards there is. no when you have it already flashed for DSI then no it does not matter when you don't have it flashed you'll need to flash it with a regular DS or Ds Phat. When the Acekard is flashed you'll see a Danny phantom logo on the start up of you DSI. I recommend after flashing it instaed of normal firmwire put AKKIo 1.6.a on it and you can play most games with a clean ROM
Acekard 2i is one of the best out there. Supercard DStwo is better but more than twice the price so unless you want all the bells and whistles I'd stick with Acekard 2i with AKAIO. By the way Fire_ice to be compatible with the latest upgrade for DSi (version 1.4.1A) you will actually have the Alex Rider Stormbreaker logo.
