acekard 2i help please

got my acekard 2i today as wasnt vey impressed with the r4i sdhc, been trying all day to get it to work with no joy, followed the tutorial on here and it just wont work comes up saying "error has occured press and hold the power button to turn the system off. please refer to the nintendo dsi operations manual for details"

Some one please help me as im having to share the slower r4i card with my son and im not getting a look in!!!

 

is your dsi's firmware 1.4?

The dsi Has a new Anti piracy system that recognizes flash cards. Update to the latest kernel and that should fix it.

if you don't have one you need to borrow one from someone

please go to youtube and type acekard 2i working on dsi. i got mine working looking on youtube.

 

had a look on you tube they all say you need a ds lite or phat.

Is there no other way to get it to work then, as we dont know anyone else with a ds lite or ds phat or dsi with v 1.3 or lower

No, you'll have to do it this way. The flashcart has to trick the DSi into thinking it's a real game card to run correctly, and this update is the only way to do it.

 

SuperCard DSONEs come with a thing which you plug in via usb and it updates, m3i zeros have a small lead which connects directly to the card, supposably DS Iplayers can update with power alone.

 

right ive found someone i know with a ds lite, so what do i need to do now????

do i put the acekard 2i firmware 1.4 on to the micro sd card then load up in to the ds lite, then do a upgrade??

Bit confused by it all as i wanted to use akaoi (sp?) but can only find ver 1.5
