Acekard 2i Frame Rate

Hey guys. I got my Acekard 2i last Wednesday, and I've noticed that GTA Chinatown Wars & Band Hero both have frame rate problems. GTA is fine until I get into a chase, and Band Hero at certain parts of a song get's choppy, just enough to play. Here is what I have:
•Acekard 2i
•Akaio 1.6 RC2
•4GB MicroSDHC
•2.93GB Left

Does anyone know why and how I can fix it?

 

What brand and class (speed) of MicroSD are you using?

 

Kingston 4GB MicroSDHC
Class 6

 

Try backing up everything, formatting with an SD Formatting software like this:
http://www.sdcard.org/consumers/formatter/

Then restore the backed up files.

If that doesn't work, try a different firmware and see if the lag goes away (Like AKAIO 1.5.1)

 

Well, to be honest, I didn't think reformatting would work, but, I've been wrong before! I reformatted with that program and now GTA Chinatown Wars & Band Hero are both lag free! Thank you so much!

 

I wouldn't have thought that was the issue, being that you just got it Wednesday. But it's always good to start troubleshooting with a fresh slate.

 

Well I used the SDHC card before for PS3 storage, and I just reformatted it with Windows 7, but I guess I needed a proper formatter.
