Just got a new Acekard 2i that is supposed to work with the DSiXL. I have tried all the step by step instructions to get it going but no luck. I could really use some assistance here..... I put the latest version of AKAIO 1.8.9 on the root add a game or two. Put it in the DSiXL.... Nothing... slot appears empty to the machine. At this point I assume I need to do an update. I have my son's older DSi Lite. so I think i'm good... I put the necessary files on the kard (AKAIO 1.8.9 and ak2ifw_update_3ds42_dsi144) .... put it in the DSi lite.... and nothing. Yet his R4 kard works just fine? I could really use some help here. I would be forever in your debt. Thanks again!

sorry I will give more detail. after I add the necessary files to the card the DSiXL gives the following message just a message saying "There is Nothing inserted in the Game Card slot" I even tried taking the memory card out and got the same message... I will have to address this later as he is heading out of town for a week. I was hoping to get him set up before he left. Hopefully you guys can assist once he returns. Thanks in advance!
