Well, I'm sick of the faulty plastic and the the fact that if you move the sd card in anyway, it freezes... and the SPACE FOR THE SD CARD HOLDER IS WIDE. Currently, I still own a Ds lite, Don't Think I'll upgrade to DSi, soon but just might if I recieve great results in the upcoming tests. I would like to purchase the AceKard 2 but I would like to know if it is worth it? I've read the review and it seems like so, but the back at the bottom where the golden rods are, are open and I hate THAT. no plastic lines in between the rods... pfft, making it look cheap. Tut when I look at the pictures at ozmodship australia (yay me I get free shipping!) I see <-- good looking, Quality plastic and plastic lining at the BOTTOM, and it looks much more sturdier than the one at gbatemps one does (links because picture size could annoy people with low resolution or just waste bandwidth.) http://gbatemp.net/reviews/acekard2/large/100_1161.jpg http://gbatemp.net/reviews/acekard2/large/100_1133.jpg it also has the best GUI, and features... Including Support for any save type. Is it possible for it to have been updated to a better looking card and better quality plastic? I know I should ask my self these questions but I can't be considered a pro .
those pictures show the Aceckart 2i, which is the DSi version of the cart. So yes, in a sense its updated.
I have a DS Lite and I am using an Acekard 2i with an EZ 3in1 V gba pack. I have do not have any problems at all with playing DS games, running Moonshell, using the DS Browser, playing GBA games, or anything else. However, instead of using the official AK firmware, I would recommend the AKAIO OS highly over the others because of the superior compatibility with the 3in1. Also, if you decide to get a DSi, you will not have to upgrade your flash cart. The build quality of both the AK 2i and the 3in1 are extremely good, and will surly provide many years of use. miros
