acekard 2 help

i loaded i think the right software on my card but it does not work on my dsi and it works on my ds. the thing is that it did work on my dsi for the longest time and just stoped wondering if i'm missing the proper software to load on the micro sd. can anyone help me.

 

What firmware does your DSi have? Look at the bottom corner of the top screen.
And do you have an Acekard 2i or an Acekard 2?

Acekard 2 does not work on the DSi (and never has).

and yes it did work at one time on my dsi it all of sudden stoped but i'm affraid i might have deleted a file by aCCIDENT

 

If the card works on the DS, then it means it has all the files it needs.
The Acekard 2 is not a DSi card, the Acekard 2i is. If your Acekard ran on the DSi before then it is an Acekard 2i.

If your DSi is on firmware 1.4, then it blocks flashcarts, and you must upgrade your Acekard in order to use it on the DSi.
Download the Acekard 1.4 update. http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/dl.php/AceKard_2i_firmware_v1.4.zip
Extract the files and put the ak2ifw_update_14_DSL.nds on your MicroSD. Put the Acekard in your DS Lite (it won't work in the DSi yet) and run the update.

do i need to extract both files

 

Both files are the same update, but one if for running on a DSi with 1.3 firmware (which you don't have) and the other is from running on a DS Lite (which you have).

also i'd like to mention on the box that the card came in says acekard 2 dsi compatible

also on the card it self it says ackard 2i

 

Run the update on the Acekard in your DS Lite, then once the update is finished, the Acekard will work on the DSi again.
