Acekard 2 and Castlevania Portrait of Ruin

hi everyone
recently i brought a acekard 2 and brought a 4gb micro sd card so i started downloading roms for it and one i downloaded the other day was Castlevania Portrait of Ruin, i put it on and tried playing it but as soon as it starts the message "save file corrupt, now deleting" (or something like that) will come up again and again and again. can anyone help me get the rom working so i can play the game

Is it akio or the official firmware?

I use a combo of both, installed akio and then rammed in the "akloader" file, which is from the official.

It's the only way I can run animal crossing, akio fails in this case.

It should work...

I'd use both akio as the main firmware-latest (ditch the official) and download the akloader from the acekard site.

Worth a go.

ive only had my acekard for 3 days

 

Easy.

Copy your current games and sav files onto your pc.

Delete the entire card.

Locate the latest akio.

Once you get this far, try the game, if it doesn't work then I'll get the akloader on and see if that helps.

i copied the akio firmware into the micro sd card and the screens just go black

 

In the game or when loading intially?

Did you install it the same way as before with the official?

 

with the official i just copied the __ak2 and akmenu4.nds onto the sd card
with the akio how do you install it or do you just copy
