Hey I have the acekard 2.1 with latest akaio firmware. When I close my ds during a game running from a rom the screen flashes white and black and makes a weird clicking sound. The power light also flashes in sync with the clicking sound. Is this normal for the acekard? When I open the ds back up the game is back to normal. No that is not normal . When you close the DS when playing a game it is normal that the power light starts to flash but the clicking sound is not normal. A old friend of mine had that to and it turned out to be the DS its self, Normally when you close your DS the top screen disconnect its power but and you should hear no sound in your case it does so I think your DS does not disconnect its power completely and that can cause a noise . i suggest you go to a store and let them check your DS. I'm sure it is not firmwire related bu I can have it wrong (If I've got it wrong someone tel me)
Ok I understand what you're saying. I just put in an original kart mario 64 and when I closed the screen the screens did not flash or make a noise. It was being normal. The clicking and flashing screens only happen when I am playing off of my flashcart.
