Acekard 1.8.0 firmware?

I haven't had time to test it out on my card since putting it there but, fellow Acekard users, does the new firmware with the AP check thing work for the new games out. (Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals and Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light?)

EDIT: And also for the game Etrian Odyssey 3.

 

I actually haven't tried any newer games, but I'll look into it. I'm interested if it works well or not.

 

Thanks. I've been busy with taking care of my son. So I haven't had time to pick up my DS really.

I know those games I have are all the clean roms, so I'm just interested in knowing if it will work. In the meantime later on I'm going to be playing Disgaea DS if I can manage to get to my DS some time tonight.

 

I'm using AKIO 1.8.0 on my Acekard 2i with 4 GB SD

Etrian Odyssey 3 : works perfectly
final fantasy the 4 heroes of light : works but I can't get past the fairy path
after using cheats I can get to Arbor but the game
does not switch to another character.
Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals : game works perfectly

Just a question are all your roms clean? As in not a patched version of the game?

Etrian Odyssey 3 ---> clean Rom ----> works perfect
Final Fantasy the 4 heroes of light ---> Venom's Rom ----> works perfect
Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals ---->patched Rom ----> works perfect

Note with AKIO 1.8.1 we should be able to play the clean Rom's without any
problems, I haven't tried it yet.

 

Gotcha. I've yet to still actually play my DS. Other things keep coming up.
