Ace Attorney (the newest one)

I am stuck on the first file. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong but I've gotten to the "Investigation Complete" but can't seem to present any kind of evidence to solve the file. Any suggestions?

also, that is a really easy case, the hardest part is on the lounge

In the first file there are...i think 2 investigations. One in Miles' room and one in the hallway.

so which one did you finish?

 

i'm stuck when i'm on the hallway, i already got the note under the door, and after that what should i do?

Ok, I finished Miles Room, not the hallway. I'll have to go back to see what's going on in the hallway. Thanks.

For some reason i don't have enough evidence to finish the first case with Miles room. The evidence I have are the pics of the body, safe, gun, and missing files.

Also, do I have to completely finish the first case in order to get into the hallway? Because i don't know how to get into the hallway.

Maybe I'm missing something that is blatantly clear. I don't know.
