Well maybe not a virus, but a form of malware. It was an Active X exploit. Even with the viruses, I still LOVE this site. I just wnt an explanation. Maybe it was a misunderstanding?

most likely it was a rogue advertiser. Our site does not have any viruses, but the advertisers are outside our control (unless you know which ad it is then we can complain about it).

It happened when I entered, this page. It has happened twice so far.

    https://www.romulation.org/downloads/

Right now there is a Tempur Pedic ad on, but When I just went there, the tempur pedic was still up and I didn't get the virus. It might have been from a blocked pop up. I'm going to try to check them now.

Are you using the SafeSearch? I have found it does occasionally pick up fake alerts time to time.

Usually it's just the ads... (annoying rogues... like Tauren Rogues... *what's that up there?*)

    Tauren can't be rogues.

    [facepalm]

Anyway about a year ago I caught a nasty one from the off-site voting sites. A pop-up came up on Dave's screen when I confirmed my vote for RomUlation, when I closed it BAM! I was hit! In mere seconds poor Dave started to shutdown & restart like he was totally trippin' Balls :'( I lost alot of unrecoverable data then.
