At first, I don't know where's the best place to ask about, but this would be the best place, IMO.
At the ROM Request forums, I've seen in this sticky about private FTP sites.
Than I remember a video on YouTube, which I can't find anymore, showing how to access them through Google.
But I don't remember the code.
So my question is, what is the text I would write to access private FTP sites, using Google?
If it isn't for private, than the public.

Through Google? Do you mean what address to type into your browser?

    ftp://user:password@ftpaddres:portnumber

    example:
    ftp://Admin:[email protected]:400

I always thought that you'd still use www. then put just a different port number after the web adress.. Like www.google.co.uk is the same as www.google.co.uk:80 because port 80 is the default port for accessing websites.

No, that's not what I mean.
A white page where you see "Index of /*", for example.
It was something in Google Search.

That all depends on the website. Some websites have root listings available (poor design or too lazy to care). Others block off the root list (Forbidden) or redirect you to the main page.

    I know that.
My sites also have blocked root lists.
I have done this code last year, it worked for all sites listed by Google.

Neat, I haven't actually learnt about it :)

    It's somewhere on YouTube.
I just don't know what video it was.

Well maybe it was deleted by youtube because they've cleaned quite a lot of their hacking videos. I know there's still loads left but there's quite a few missing.
