Yeah I heard that the new Beta for PCSX2 is easier on PC's even laptops with average hardware specs. Will my laptop be able to run it?

    Here's my specs

    3 GB Ram
    2.20 GHZ Intel Celeron Processor
1.3 GB Mobile Intel(R) 4 Family Chipset Graphics Card
    Conexant High Def Smart Audio

So can my Laptop run that new beta? What are the requirements?

I would not bet money on it being able to run.
Integrated graphics and a single core processor (I don't know if it supports SSE2 or not).

    Check here for details.

The operating system is not the most important thing. Processor, Graphics Card, RAM. Those are the biggest.

Check whether or not you laptop support SSE2.
    Config -> Cpu

Notice the Top-Left box, you should be able to see your laptop Features.
If the SSE2 is listed, download the r1888+plugins, as well the latest plugins, and update your laptop.
But still, I'm not very sure if your integrated card able to run the emulator...

Truth be told I tried the previous beta before my laptop was steaming hot but managed to get at least 40 to 50 fps in Marvel Vs Capcom 2 and Disgaea 2.I can't say the same for 3D games since I never tried them.

And thnks TirithRR I'll look in there.

Meganova what do you mean by going to config? lol

Edit:NVM my Processor doesn't support SSE2.Well it looks as though my laptop stands no chance against that PS2 Emulator then XD!

Thnks for the help anyway guys.
