Hi everybody, I am interested in helping to translate the site (in french) but when I see the number of users in Romulation, I guess plenty of people will be helping too. I think this would be a good idea to see how many are interested to do it and in which language. Indeed, I would feel a bit frustrated if I'd work during hours to translate several texts, and when I am ready, to figure out that somebody else already sent the translation in the same language :-\ So what I propose is : 1) Could the admin tell us how many sentences should be translated (1000, 10000, 100000, ...) ? 2) If many people are volunteers for the same language, perhaps we could synchronize and each of us work on a range (from 1 to 1000, from 1001 to 2000, ...) 3) How could we "register" as volunteer in one (or more) languages ? This could be interesting before starting to work. My 2 cents ;-)
All translators have to go through me so if there are several for one language then they will be told so, so they can work together. So if you're interested then PM me so I can get you setup. And of course read here on how to get setup properly.
