A screen issue with my PS3 games

In Blazblue Continuum Shift the character names under their Portraits next to their lifebars aren't fully shown on screen.In Trinity Universe when a chapter ends when you see chapter end the N & D aren't in screen.So anyone know a solution to my issue?BTW I'm using a Standard Def TV.....

 

It may be that the images are being cut off because they are sized for a bigger TV. If you can find a way to fiddle with the image size, that would fix it. If you can't, all you can really do is either deal with it or get a bigger TV.

 

Make sure your video output is set to the correct format that your TV supports.

 

Can't I mess with the PS3's Video settings to work on standard def?

 

you can put the screen 4/3 or 16/9 with ps3 try it and see if it helps

 

How do I do that?

 

go to system settings and then put video settings

 

Did it just now and it's STILL doing this.I'll just have to buy a new TV then.

 

I've had this issue since my PS2 on my little old TV. It is basically unfixable.
