A Question?

    i heard from a friend of mine that a Wii emulator and a PS2 emulator will screw up your computer. is it really true if not i have the latest and best ps2 emulaor (just in case ;D) and how can i download and successfully play on my other computer? it has no internet and im turning it into a gaming computer but i really want some ps2 games on it like MGS

    The emulators will not screw up your computer. As long as you download them from the main source, and not some no name site that may have it laced with Viruses.

    PCSX2 is the best PS2 emulator available.

    It requires a very powerful computer to run properly though. It has a very impressive list of compatible games.

    Dolphin is the best Wii/Gamecube emulator available.

    It also requires a powerful computer, and I don't know how well the Wii emulation is. I got it to work with the WiiWare "Final Fantasy 4 the After Years". But it requires a lot of fixes and patches to bypass the anti-piracy on the wii-ware.

    Check the games compatibility first before you're using it.

    Mgs has a strict compatibility...

    son's of the parriots won't work well, yet the enhanced version (substance) works, and snake eater won't run from what I personally played.



    Also, unless you get majour viruses from downloading iso's or you download from places other than the official sites, these can't wreck your computer..but it might make your pc work hard just to get the games running...

    I do hope you got a decently powerful pc :)
