a question about r4ds

hey, i'm wondering if this problem is normal with a r4 ultra. when the ds battery indicator is red and it shuts down due to low power and i turn it back on again, it says there is no ds cart in the ds. the screen appears like it normally would when there is no ds game in the ds. i connect the charger and tried it, the same thing happen. wait for about like 2 minutes and it works like normal again. turning it on with green battery indicator, it works like normal again. so my question is, does the ds not read the r4 ultra when it is low on power?

 

Maybe there isn't enough power to power up the chip inside the R4?

Why are you letting it get so low that it shuts off anyway?

 

i agree with T, if you want to keep playing, keep playing with your DS on charge, that's what my kids do....

 

i was out and not at home, so can't charge it.

 

I usually stop playing when it starts turning orange so I don't accidentally lose my progress by it shutting itself off
