Is there any program that can stop the installation of another program? For example, I don't want Limewire installed on my computer but my cousin who at the same time uses the PC installs it, now what I need is a program that can prevent her from installing it back again. -Sorry if its a bit confusing.
You could do several things.Your firewall can be set for not allowing it Internet access for starters,or you could set up your cousin on a different account with you setting up what permissions she'll have. Best to talk about your concerns to her and come to an arrangement
Hrm, at first I was about to ask if you had seperate log ins-but even if you did all profiles would have that program. Try this if you DON'T want it installed-use seperate accounts-password protected-lock out all install privliges That's what my mother did to stop me installing itunes-until she gave away her password-AND I WAS SCOTT FREE!

LOL,its where I got most of my info from over the years,although ive deleted my account.If his cousin is "determined" enough,she could bypass about anything thats in place.He doesnt say which OS or Firewall is used,or how "smart" his cousin is.I just highlighted 2 x options she has to get around anything he sets up.
