A few R4 questions...

    1. how do i check what my r4 firmware is and update my r4 firmware, i have an r4 revolution
    2. what is arm7 and how do i use it on vista
    Any help would be greatly apppreciated and im sorry if i seem like a newb.

    Firmware version can be found in bottom left hand corner.

    how can i tell if its fake? mine says sdhc beside the r4 logo on the r4 card? Im guessing its a fake, but i want to know if it will screw my ds...

    R4 Revolution's fake. but to my knowledge it's not the one that will brick the DS (i think it's the N5 that does that)

    i think i have the same one as you, is the folder for the system named R4? if so yeah thats about the same as mine and it has a diff menu layout then the real one,
    it works the same, except no arm7 patch needed :D

    i dont think mines the same as yours, because mine still gets the "cant find save data" error on some game meaning that arm7 is required, no that i know mines a clone though, im a bit hesitant to download it and try seeing as i dont want my ds bricked... also my firmware is 1.25, is that the latest version for this one...???

    1.25 is the latest for SDHC model yes. Just follow the Common Issues linked above :)
