I'm wondering, I read there is a 100% working on all flash carts Pokemon HG/SS (J) Rom with a 100% English patch. Couldn't we all just play that rom and still be able to to use local play and wifi battle with people who own both the Japanese and US release of the game? And if there ever is a working US rom, couldn't we also use our same save file from the (J) rom with no issues? I use DSTT_1.17a12 by the way.
Can;t use save's from other regioned games, it's something in the programming. We could, but unless you can find pre patched roms it's easier to get the US one working, besides while the translation is preety good, the dedicated english rom would be far better.
