Sorry for the trouble but i have a craving on building a cheap-gaming computer and I would like some suggestions. I'm not in a hurry to buy this, I'm just wondering if i missed something or something is bad/ not compatible. Here is the specs:

    CPU: AMD Phenom II X2 555 3.2Ghz AM3
    MOBO: Asus M2N68-AM
    Ram: Kingston 2GB PC6400 DDR2 800
Hard Drive: Samsung 1TB 7200rpm SATA
Optical Drive: Samsung DVDRW SH-222A 22X IDE
    Casing: Artic 5827 ATX 600W
OS: I want to try a pirated version of Win 7 Ultimate on this machine.

My reason for building this is:
1.) Experimenting with different Operating Systems, mostly does you can download instead of buying.
2.) To install most games i like to play without anybody objecting cause it will be solely mine.
3.) Use different programs on it.

Well generally, i will be mostly used for experiment and gaming, no serious uses. So if it crashes, well, its cheap.

Just wondering, but there's no Graphic Card on your list.
That is important for a gaming PC.

The rest seems fine for a mid-end power PC though.

yup, cause it already has an onboard graphics, and for a experimental pc, i will put one after my experiments. I wont want to have a expensive video card fried/crash with the rest.

I already have it. Answer: Torrent

Also, to add to my questions, are those compatible with each other? Aside for the graphics card, am i missing anything else?

    no they don't.

Onboard graphics arent generally up to much regarding gaming, and personally I'm not a fan of kingston ram, but otherwise it looks OK. Make sure you get a decent power supply (not one that comes with the case, they invariably suck)

My windows 7 ultimate came from a torrent and it works fine its even activated.
Definately no virus on it, in fact ive never had a virus from any torrent.

then we got the same one. my main reason on building this is to try the win 7 ultimate on a pc, i tried it on my netbook and well, it worked but when i tried to activate it, it crash and wont boot up again, but my theory is that my netbook fails on some requirements of ultimate for my netbook... so... i'll try it on a pc, without cause other pc some problems.

the win7 ultimate is for 32 built, but if it will need more, then i'll add more.
but i'm going to install some other os, like linux distro and those tiny beast editions...
i just hope i can partition the hard drive to accomodate those os...

on an extra note, is it possible for me to install a mac os on it? just a thought...

I've made hackingtoshs before, so it will probably work. The smoothness varies a lot between computers though.
