500gb on a cd

    that thing is 46.6 times bigger than my old hard drive! i wonder if a whole game went on it how epicly long it would take to finish...

    hmm... i say more. look at some of the games now, how long they take from start to finish. but especially Blizzard's stuff! with them, it probably take at least like 3-5 years, and it's awesome would completely steamroll every single game in existance XD

    IIRC DVD and Blu-Ray is also call optical disk......

    so that 500gb optical disk isnt really a CD....its a new type of optical disk....i wonder what it would be call?

    it's not a CD, and the access time is likely quite poor for a drive of that capacity.

    knowing seph he'd have a few too many drinks, try jam them into his stereo, yell and scream when he realizes they wont play music, and end up scratching, snapping or otherwise breaking the disks and having to start romu from scratch again :p

    RomUlation has a fair few more files than 1.5 TB. :)

    Regardless, we already have 24 TB of space. (12 TB since it's in raid)

    I don't care too much about the storage capacity, what matters most is reading speed and primary random reads.
