I have one of the real R4 cards (not sdhc or anything), and was given a 4GB Micro SD... but when I try to load the R4 it stays at the loading screen... is there any way to make this work... (don't tell me to buy a new flash cart... because I'm not)
The normal R4 and its clones only support micro sd cards up to 2 gig. Its a pain. I just recommend you get multiple 2 gig cards.
alright... it's a little more expensive than buying a single 4 gig, but still cheaper than something that takes SDHC
I have 2 cards myself. One of game and the other of movies, music, ebooks (txt files), pictures. A friend of mine has about 4-5.
anything is possible if you just try ... but on topic i thought any amount would work it's just that your not gonna be playing 80 different games because out of the 39 games i have a probably play about 10 of the games
SDHC is different hardware wise to microsd. It will never be possible for the original R4 to read SDHC cards.
Ok, I just went out and bought a 2GB card... I am now just using the 4GB card as a flash drive, thanks to an extra USB-to-MicroSD adapter
