3DS System Update

    Hello, I have a 3DS with firmware 4.1, but I don't want to do a system update, because I want to use the Gateway 3DS card. Is it possible to download demos from the e-shop without doing an update? How do I change in options (if possible) a way for the 3DS to block updates?

    to my knowledge is is not possible to block updates, nor is it possible to use the eshop with an outdated firmware.
