3DS DSiware transfer - a question regarding the latest version of AKAIO

In order to transfer one's DSiware from a Nintendo DSi to a 3DS, they have to go into the DSi Shop and download a special application that allows them to transfer the games from the DSi to the 3DS. Basically, that would require one to upgrade the firmware of the DSi in order to access the shop (provided they haven't done so already) since access to the shop requires the latest firmware. Needless to say, I want to transfer my DSiware to my 3DS.

Does anyone know what the current build of AKAIO is, and if it can run on the latest DSi firmware? It should be noted that there may be a new DSi firmware update accompanying the transfer application, and if there is, I would like the status of the functionality of an Acekard 2i running the latest version of AKAIO on the current firmware. My DSi isn't currently up-to-date firmware-wise, and I don't want to disable the use of my Acekard on my DSi just for the sake of transferring two games to my 3DS.
