Ok - this will show you how little I really know about all this... All help is appreciated!!!

    1) I need a slot 2 cartridge so my little one can play GBA games on the DS Lite. I am using an Acekard 2 for the games (works great!!!). I would just keep this cartridge in slot 2 at all times (so I'd prefer it fit flush with the DS lite).

I do not know what the difference between these slot 2 cartridges is - Which one should I order for this purpose??? ???

    2) I was also thinking I might eventually get brave enough to attempt to dump a few games that I've been unable to find as downloads... can that be done with the the same unit or would I have to get a different slot 2 card to dump games?

    3) Do you have any other suggestions for a slot 2 cart? If so please tell me & explain why... I am eager to learn! :D

That is the exact one I have, fits very flush with the DS and works ABSOLUTELY perfect. I use it mostly for GBA roms, however some times I surf the web (I do not use the vibration, but it does work). The only thing is that I was using the official AK OS, but once I switched to the AKAIO, I could never go back, just easier-will post a video. However, order from DealExtreme, I live in the Finger Lakes and the orders come in like two weeks, and they have the best deal on the internet and they have free shipping. Best of Luck,

ps-I would not upload any games if I were you, probably nothing would happen, but I do not think that you should take the chance...

We have no problem with people sharing the games they own if they are not available. And no, you won't get in trouble ;) If you have a game that isn't on Romulation, dump it and send Seph the link in a PM and he will handle everything.

But as for dumping to slot 2, that only works for small games, larger games have to be dumped over Wi-Fi to your computer directly. There is a nice tutorial out there that tells you how to do it.

Ok - ordered a EZV 3 in 1 Expansion Pack Plus - hopefully I'll be able to figure out how to make the GBA games work once I get it.

Thank You all for you help!!!

It's easy, just send the gba games into the DS card (it works if using acekard, not sure what else does) and with this linked via gba slot, it boots them over, like a bridge...

Why, now I forgot what it's called and how you do it, but it has enough memory to save 1 gba game and save data, which will sync (as in ipod way) with the ds card once returned...

Perfect for when your stuck with a gba, or using the link up features some games have.

The first link is for EZ flash 3 in 1 DS lite( which i have)

The other link is for DS phat

if you have a ds phat dont get the first link because the cart wont fit

with a ds lite you can get any of the 2 but the bottom one will stick out of you DS so I would say get the top one

I have the 3-in-1 and it works great, so go for that one.
