well, they're on ebay if anyone here is interested. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=170239484760&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=007 and http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=170239484721&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=007 These were the cards I used in my SLI setup before I upgraded to an 8 series.
I wish I had some spare cash, I mean loonylion tried & tested graphics cards I won't install them on my PC though, just vacuum seal them as they'd be rare collectibles someday, when loony becomes a celebrity of sorts.
Who ever wants them is running low on time. How many 7800GTX cards can you put on SLI at the same time?
2. Tri and Quad SLI cannot be done with the 7 series to my knowledge. If you get a special bridge then Tri may be possible, however only vista supports such configurations.
it's pretty steep. it's about $200 usd. i'm not trying to bash you or hope that it doesn't offend or do anything that may be disastrous but for $200 for a geforce 7 series is pretty steep knowing that ati and nvidia are at a price war know. geforce 8 and 9 have a good price range and for around 150 or less, you can find an 8800gt or 9600gt, which is also dx 10 as compared to dx9.
you're talking about the buy it now price, not the actual bid price, which is starting at £75. Also, you cannot compare a x800 with a x600 as the x600 is mid-range while the x800 is high-end. I believe the 7800GTX slightly outperforms the 8800GT, that would be consistent with previous cards anyway; and these cards are factory overclocked and a high-performance brand, compared to the newer cards in that price bracket, which are budget brands such as evga.
Relisted: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=170242578854&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=007 and http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=170242578876&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=007 I found the accessories for the second.
loony just a tip with ebay start your item at nothing and put a reserve on, your more likely to get what you want for it then. its all in the mind i did the same when selling a bass guitar, it didn't sell twice then some one told me to do what i'm telling you and i got it sold. no one bids on things that start expensive but they do if they think they are getting a good deal. and nice one on the 100%
Got them sold? otherwise you should re-upload them, because the bidding has ended. *I was just checking bids*
