    Hey all,

I was really excited when I learned that Chrono Trigger was coming to DS, and also that the Japanese game would already feature English subtitles as well. So I've downloaded it to give it a try.

However, the ROM seems to get stuck at a certain point... Well, not so much stuck, as it just keeps repeating the same scenes and music. Namely the first time you get into the time machine.

Anyone who has ever played the game will have to remember those psychedelic spirals on the screen when you travel through time, right? Well, that's what it keeps repeating! Is there any way I can resolve this? (aside from waiting for the US version :p)

I am using an R4 DS...

The rom isn't bad, it just has some stuff in there to stop you from stealing it :p

So it's actually working more correctly than you want it to. And I'm sure Loonylion was just annoyed by your assumption that it had to be the rom because of the flashcart you were using. That doesn't automatically make it the rom.

oh no, i'm fully aware it's irrelevant to the cart. i was simply stating that since the first poster had the same issue with a different model.

Theres a tutorial in the tutorials section about this. Search the forums and all of your answers will be found. Everything you need to know is already there.
