Just asking about 2896 - Guitar Hero On Tour Decades - Europe.

my ds selected language is english yet it shows spanish

Have you updated your firmware? If not, do that. If you have, reinstall the english firmware (if there is indeed other language firmwares). If that doesn't work, look around for some sort of configuration file, like a .ini. If you can find something like that amongst your firmware files, copy and paste the contents for me.

EDIT: It seems the multiple language tag was right (M4, however it's been recorded as M5 by some people). It's just that the dumped copy of the ROM doesn't have English as it's default language (not counting the detection of the DS or flashcart firmware language setting) It seems it just doesn't want to change for most flashcarts. If there's no way to change the ROM language in the ROM, a solution is to unpack the ROM using DSLazy or something or DSBuff, and then change the arm7.bin file (language file) to English (probably overwriting the default one in the default location for the Spanish etc. or just getting rid of all of them except English). So either moving the arm7.bin, or simply replacing it with an updated version of it from a different ROM (some are provided with the NDS ROM unpackers), newer devkit versions that are used to make the ROM have a "lesser" version of the arm7.bin and other various files.

 

uhmmm.. question?.. can you play guitar hero on the DS without the fret glove thingy?.. i put guitar hero on tour on my r4 but its saying i can't "rock" without my the guitar thingy attached on my DS..

 

where can i find the patch?..

 

hey I've went through all the files of the guitar hero and deleted all of the other lanuages apart from enligish and pakced it all again but, i seem to only get two blank screens. the guitar hero has arm7.bin and arm9.bin

Look in NDS Trading Station.

You only replace or move arm7.bin. I think you should just wait for the (U), it's a lot of hassle to do it.

Another thing you could try is to unpack the ROM, and rename the files from Spanish to English.

For example: Rename Tarantula_sections_Spanish.qb to Tarantula_sections_English.qb and Tarantula_sections_English.qb to Tarantula_sections_Spanish.qb.

So the game will load up the "Spanish" files, but it will actually be using the English files you've simple renamed.

 

That can lead to a corrupt ROM.
