I tried asking in other forums, but I didn't get good answers. PERHAPS I cna get something else from this forum? Anyways, my firmware at the time was 1.4 (1.41?). I put in the new update, 1.55, and then 1.56 BETA 3, but it was STILL at 1.4. I tried a few times, putting in the new update, but it was STILL stuck at 1.4, and I can't play DS/DSi games. Does anyone know what exactly is the problem, and possibly any tips on how to fix this? I would appreciate it, gratefully. Problem solved!
Re: CycloDS firmware not updating at all Make sure the Update.evo file is on the Root of your MicroSD, no folders. When booting up your CycloDS, it should see the Update.evo file and automatically start the update program. If it doesn't see the file it won't update. You can force it to update by holding Down and B when you select the CycloDS.
Can you give us the solution to your problem KougaMyawaza. Sometimes it stuffs up on me as well but i always get it working again. Don't know what.
He/She was putting the update file in a folder rather than the root of the MicroSD. So the Card was not loading the update since it wasn't where it should be.
