2 files for the NDS card... HELP?!

Hii, was wondering if anyone can help me, im having problems dowloading games onto my nds card. once ive dowloaded a game, it wont work, but ive realised the ones that dont work dont have 2 files? would really appreciate the help!! thanks.

just certain games ive tryed downloading, ive noticed that the ones what work have 2 files, and anyone i download only has 1? erm not sure what flashcart it is, it just says on it thats it R4.. so im not to sure.

LOL, honestly , i really have no idea.. what do you mean?

 

If it's a NDS roms,make sure you have .nds in the end of the name.

 

Lemme try and clarify my previous post.

Which games are you having problems with?
What happens when you try to play them?
What do the filenames of the two files end in (eg abc.nds, xyz.sav)? This is known as the file extension.

If the file extension of the downloaded file is .zip, then you'll have to extract the game from within that file. To do so, right-click on the .zip file and click on "Extract". Then copy the extracted .nds file to your microSD card.

For the record, your R4 is known as a flashcart.

 

oh right, aha sorry! i really didnt have a clue! but i tryed downloading a game just now, and i got this flasget thing? that has the download manager, but still doesnt work! lol sorry, it was imagine fashion model, and sid miers civilizzation thing, and when i go to play they say file has failed to load.

 

Have you extracted the file?

 

You can't use FlashGet here unless you either set it to only use one connection or become a premium member. Otherwise, I'd assume the downloads fail.

You can set FlashGet to only use connection by changing the "Threads from main site" number to 1 in the new download box.

This is a program called Winrar, it will let you extract the DS games...

 

Make sure you have the latest firmware on http://www.linfoxdomain.com/ds/ You only need the .nds file, the accompanying .nfo file is not needed.

 

This person is so flashcart illiterate she wont know what firmware is.

Do this.

1. Download Winrar - http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar39b5.exe

2. Download game make sure you choose save not run

3. Click on the game that you just downloaded and choose the one wich has n.ds on the end.

4. Drag to games folder in memory card (the thing that goes into your flashcart)

5. Find game on DS

6. Try to play game.

7. If it works have fun if not keep followng...

8. download latest r4 firmware from - http://www.linfoxdomain.com/ds/ (make sure its English)

9. Backup memory card files. e.g copy everything to your computers hard drive in to an appropriate folder.

10. extract folder with winrar.

11. Replace all files that came in the download with the same ones which are on your memory card.

12. Try playing it again
