1 gig roms that're driving me CRAZAAYY!!! Dx

Hey :-\

Whenever I download these 1 gigabyte size roms (eg: fire emblem path of radiance), the download is ALWAYS incomplete... like instead of being a 1 gig archive, it's 2 mb, 4 mb, 230 kb etc. Also, it's 1 gig whole and takes half a day to download... :
Is there some way i can get it complete and (if possible) make it download faster???

The only way to make it download faster is to get a better internet connection. Contact your local Internet Service Providers to see what they offer and how much they cost.

To avoid broken downloads, use a download manager like FlashGet.
www.flashget.com

This will allow you to pause and resume broken downloads, and avoid corrupted downloads.

 

Or using the Free Download Manager, although not as good as Flashget.
Orbit Downloader is way much faster than Flashget but it's very risky to use it because when you pause the download,
It might not be able to resumed again(even if the site have resume download capability).

Your best bet is Flashget, although a bit slower.
But, it's all depend on your internet connection though, like Tirith just said.

Dolphin is the best emulator for GC.

Now the problem with flashget is... it downloaded the file, and again it's, lemme see...
250 kb instead of 1 GB! ;_;

Maybe the real problem is your internet connection..

Well, sometimes FDM also have the same problem.. ;D

 

I was downloading a game and it stopped because my net cut out..

I attempted to resume, the progress bar wasn't moving...but my net sure was.

Turns out the progress bar just locked up XD


Just stop it, and try again, if you can see your active net speed view it, if it show's something big when just on forums, your downloading something still.
