    "Writing on his Twitter page, Kojima said he came to this conclusion after watching a documentary on foreign exchange students at Kyoto Seika University. The students, who were studying manga, were portrayed as being highly motivated".

    Oh yeah, there's some concrete proof right there./s
    He's basing his opinion of all young Japanese designers on seeing one particular group of "motivated foreigners" in an entirely different area of design... ridiculous.


    EDIT: allkratos, I'm guessing that you're the one that submitted the first vote for "He had analysed the situation before saying it. So he might be very well correct"? He hasn't properly analysed the situation at all.

    I don't think it's true... Maybe a big part of these Japanese people have "no motivation" but he can't judge everyone like that, there will always be some creative people with imagination, strong will and this motivation stuff and these who only do things that others do to earn some money- he just has to find these described in first part of this sentence to change his statement (yeah yeah my English I know)
