I've looked around the internet and on ebay for replacement batteries for my DSi's but there are so many different spec's.

There are different voltages and even more with differing mAh

Which is the best to go for as I obviously don't want to overheat of cook my consoles?

    Many thanks in advance

I had obviously thought of that but pukka Nintendo batteries cost a lot more than other replacements and in my experience, 3rd party replacement parts are just as good and far less expensive.

No they aren't, every batter in the past even from known brands last for the shortest of times.

It's nintendo, they want your money, I suspect a conspiracy with third party hear...

Old gamecube memory cards would fizzle with some games made by nintendo if they were third party, rechargable ds batteries would last seconds, stlyus pens woukd kill your touch screen, etc...

Start saving, is all i can suggest...

Or do as I did, we have a total of 3 dslites in our house, one was busted...even though it was fro japan it worked fine :)

voltage has to be the same. Higher mAh will last longer on a single charge.
