well i have 2 webcams. 1 is a labtec webcam the other is the Eyetoy camara (Its realy good camara) well the thing is that wen i plug any of them i and try to use it using the program spicified for it or MSN Messanger i get the same Error "Cannot Connect to the camara. this is probly due to the webcam not being connected to the computer or because the webcam is beeing used by an other application" Now all i do is plug it in and thats it, iv looked around to see what could be using the Webcam without my permission and i cannot find any program thats using it exept for the program i want it to be used with. any suggestions is welcome. Thank you * Note * Before MSN wouldnt let me enter the webcam settings because i was missing This "RASAPI32.dll" i think i must be missing somthing else but MSN isnt telling me what im missing, i found out about that thing i was missing because i used normal Windows messanger and that instantly told me that i was missing that.
probably it means the camera drivers are not properly installed or the camera is not selected as the video source.
Now That you Mention "Video Souce" iv been seeing that all over the internet but i have yet to find out how to put my webcam as the video source, this could actuly be the problem. thanks for your help. any more is welcome Edit - i cannot believe that iv had dedicated a whole day trying to fix this webcam issue
