   Hi all,
   
   I have just installed visual basic 2005 for my college course and when I try to load a form it displays "creating project ... project creation failed" in the bottom corner of the program.
   
   I'm running Windows 7 professional
   
   Does anyone know what the problem could be?

   at a guess its trying to put your project files into a location that windows 7 doesnt allow write access to.
