a month ago my flashdrive that contains my games stopped it's services, the computer and laptop is useless in detecting it, it's dead already, then the phone-pc connecter is causing some issue with my patience i plugged in but no normal notices like found ew hardware bla bla bla then i tried to enter the external mem. and guess what? my lappy got frozen a few minutes and told me PLEASE INSERT A DISK IN DRIVE F or some sort....then i noticed that the name was Removable Disk but as far i remember it was Drive at the back i uninstall and re-plug all went back to normal and then, my lappy got frozen a few minutes and told me PLEASE INSERT A DISK IN DRIVE F or some sort.... again! extra info : this lappy has been crappy with speed it's old...not so old and has been infected by my school's library comp viruses carried by my dead usb namingly Document1.exe with comes with a extra .exe (invisible icon) on the bottom right task bar
for a start get rid of the viruses. Then try uninstalling and reinstalling the USB drivers. Then try a USB device that you know works (confirm in another computer first).
they never got off the screen each time restarting the com, .exe will have to be exited to avoid transmision to other devices...by the way thanks ^^ i'll try to steal some usbs cause mine was dead hee thanks a lot ^^
