140 die in Philippine storm, toll expected to rise

Man, one of the nastiest storms that ever struck us

I mean, even in Metro Manila (Our country's capital) places that were a little higher in terms of height compared to sea level sank in waist deep to a full adult's height in flood water. Even here where I live, which is a higher mountainous area suffered under flood.

Our whole village was flood because of it! It's the first time it happened to our village so we weren't prepared for it...houses with no second story were left destroyed...

my classmate's house has their 1st floor flooded!

hahaha I really laughed when the flood was really almost an inch close to our door when the rain weakened.. damn.. We get almost all of our things in the first floor of our house.. yep other places had their taste of first time flood... too bad for others..

First, its ondoy not undoy, cause where still at the Letter O in tropical storms' name.

Secondly, good thing we dont get anymore of those rains + winds... that would be more devastating. Hope that those congressmen who receives hundreds of millions of pesos give back the money they get, also known as "Pork Barrel". Not as "donation" but as a job. That money is from the people and should be used for the people. Like those who where victims of the storm.

A very good internet friend of mine lives in The Philippines. I haven't heard from him in days. I hope it's just the floods ruining his internet, and not something worse.

crap. after ondoy, there is a next one heading here again, at least 2 more. the 1st to hit is expected, but the 2nd one is still being observed. oh well, its nature, cant stop it.

i wish it would go north towards taiwan, but it would be wrong to put that problem to other countries... hope it will just disappear

My mum is still trying to reach her relatives.

 

yeah, its named Peping. if it continues its course, it will only hit northern part and straight to taiwan. hope Taiwan will at least now be ready cause its a 3 in 1 storm.

and click the picture, you will see that there is another storm in the pacific. PAGASA said it will enter the PAR but will not make landfall. damn it...

 

...One disaster after another, eh...? What's next? Mt. Pinatubo and Mayon erupting while there's a Tsunami? I hope not.
