I just watched Tiger Woods statement and I felt he was very sincere. I agreed with his idea that most of the questions that the media has for Tiger were too personal and should be left for him and his wife. What did you guys think?

I don't think that the media should have been involved in the first place.

But unfortunately, that is what society craves....Beaten down celebrities' love stories...

Tiger Woods made a statement? What?

I only know that Tiger cheated on his wife, and... that's about it. I've been avoiding my local news lately like the plague.

The media depends on the masses to survive, but at the same time shapes the masses. So much power! You think maybe I should become a journalist?

News is objective, or should be; It's why I hate the media.

BBC's a lot better than CNN, though...

I don't really see why he had to apologise to the media and to the world. He's only human. He slept with other women, his only apology should be to his wife.

Well, I guess if he didn't apologise to the media then those hyenas would be bugging him, his family, and his mistress for the rest of their lives.

Until Britney Spears shaves her head again. (I heard about that a month after it actually happened.) Then maybe they might just be let off the leash.

Without Fox News, where would the Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert get the majority of their jokes?

Which they have no right to be doing.

Try telling that to them! They wouldn't dare anger the Ratings God anyway.

I'd carry this further, but it'll devolve into me ranting about the media and stuff.

I wonder if he was sincere, or Nike instead told him to do it...ot lose his largest sponser.

Nike would be so sad they didn't make him wear a Nike t-shirt, that would've been great publicity for them. LOL

Apparently he was very sincere, almost to the point of crying.

One of the rare occasions I agree with Suiseiseki :)

I mean every other celebrity does that :p

Heck even regular Joes do it.

His public statement is nothing more than a publicity stunt to:

    1. Earn sympathy <- the most probably reason.
    2. To prove he isn't Gay <- no offense to the gay community I hope. But yeah, he screws around with women = manliness points.
