    As I said last time this came up for discussion, it really only concerns Japan, and I honestly don't think they're going to be capable of fully banning all import, flash carts will still be available for purchase.

    it's a very tough situation for everyone.

    -if they continue to sell the pirate machine, then square, taito, etc... and all everyone else that develops game for consoles would lose sales

    -if they don't sell the pirate machine then it somewhat hurts indie developers or those homebrew developers [whatever name they like to be called] since it'll be more costly to obtain the developers kit

    -then there is the arguement that they do have the right to sell the pirate machine but the intentions are those of the people not the retailers and such [like a knife, someone stabs someone you're not going to ban the sales of knives]

    -if sales of the pirate machine do continue, other alternate drms become developed by microsoft, sony, etc.... and the results for comsumers maybe worse then it is right now. [look at pc for instance].
