The world is shit. As I see it now all I see shit. All I see on TV is shit. Violence and War and Economy problems. Shit. Half the world is complaining about gas prices, but they don't do shit about it. I mean, WHAT THE FUCK IS THE WORLD COMING TO? Goddamn, even as I browse the topics here, I read all sorts of problems in the world. What I don't get is who/how all this started. Why is all this stuff happening. It may be just me, but I think it's more severe than it ever was. Nowadays it's damn hard to find DECENT people who don't go about their lives like every-thing's OK. Todays youth is more uncontrolled than ever. Their damn parents let them do whatever they want and spoil them. They grow up not knowing how to work and boom another life screwed over. Why is this happening? Will it stop? I've been oddly depressed these past few days just seeing the world and people around me. I stop to think if its worth it. The only thing that keeps me alive is the will for a better life my parents never had because they look different and don't speak English. Underpay, Word Hunger, EFFING GAS PRICES, who the hell needs gas. I'm never getting my damn drivers licensee, I'm not legally entitled to it anyway. Screw the world. I feel only 1% of the world has a brain decent enough to understand what's really happening. Stop wasting money on useless shit and help build a gas-free car. I'll stop now I just needed to get that out.
everything boils down to politics. Gas prices are high because bush wants more money in his pocket so he's manipulating the oil market. The iraq war was because bush wanted their oil, also because he wanted to make his daddy proud by taking over the country his dad got soundly beaten in. UK taxes are high because the government knows fine well it won't get re-elected and the party members are trying to make as much money as possible while they still can (the prime minister especially). Kids are out of control because it's against the law to use any kind of effective discipline and so they don't learn that there are concequences to their actions, additionally the high cost of living means that both parents have to work so the kids are left alone with electronic babysitters (TV/video games) they are also spoilt as the parent's way of making up for not spending time with them. The media likes stirring up trouble and painting everything in a negative light, and they will do anything for a sensationallist story.
your half right there loony, its not the parents that both work all day that is the problem its teenage parents that work the system. you get people from council estates not working sitting on there ass doing nothing all day but spend the taxpayers money. the kids they have they don't care about as they are only there to get them another chunk of money , these kids grow up doing exactly the same but worse because the parents didn't give them the knolwege to live there own life, like how to cook how to clean or HOW TO RAISE A CHILD. kids here in the uk are haveing there own kids just because it gets them a house not because they love someone and want to bring a new life in to the world. it sickens me it realy does. you where right about the concequences of there actions there is nothing done about it but its not just the law thats surrounding it its also political correctness that is the problem or the fact that no can be bothered to deal with the crappy parents. its stupid, people think they know there rights but they don't know the responsibility that goes with the right, like you have freedom to speach but the responsibility is that you use your word appropriatly or you have the freedom not to have a board rubber chucked at your head when your acting like a twat but you need to not act like a twat. what also get kids off the hook from concequence is if they come from a poor background or have had a bad life or have ADD/ADHD "oh he's had a bad home experience so lets not be to harsh" but those are the kids that need the effort put in to reforming thier actions. no one can handle them properly anymore, they need to be traeted nicely but when they do something wrong you need to stand your ground and never once let your boundries drop. i see it all the time as i work with pre-schoolers and youth work so i get to see the shitty parents destroy there own childs self-esteem and then i get to see the damage done the other side with the teenages, kids that have got thier own way. untill they meet me that is, i'm the funnest person to be around when we are all behaving but the minute you disobay me there is consequence like "get out" ;D and then i'm back to being fun. i stand my ground and never give up i don't give 3 warning i give 1 why give them a chance to piss you off 2 more times then it needs be. and when you give children/teenagers boundries they like it, they may not say they like it but it makes them feel safe, and gain respect. i was going to go on but i could for ever as if i did go on to get a degree in what i'm studying this would be the subject i'd write my thesis on. so i'll stop untill some one else talks.
okay, to sum it up, The Governmnet. Bad choices. Dumb laws. Corrupted governemnt Officials. Lack of support from the public.
you know at the rate we're going, our future do look bleek...what if we hit world depression again? or worse world war three? >.< with Nukes I think it'll be like cold war 2 but it's still stressful. The government will never change, history will repeat its self. We have been living "peacefully" for quite a while... something will stirr....
stop blaming the govenment for everything people are the worst cause of societies downfall, every day normal people. there are too many human rights and people get away with far to much
I'm blaming the government because alot of officials are laid back....taking advantage of their part, and I did state not enough public support am I right?
you can blame the government for being retarded this and that but just remember who voted those dumbasses in office in the first place. (the public) yes, the same public that doesn't know any better. Most of the population's education isn't past high school. Why should they hold such great power to decide on the nation's well being? (hell, one of the supervisors i know, thought there were 52 states...) i liked it better when common people weren't allowed to hold office... (ancient rome and the aristocratic era) only the smart, well educated, (and rich at the time) could hold office, and for the most part, they did a pretty damn good job. i wouldn't let the rich hold office now, because i wouldn't want some brainless couch jumper as a senator. imagine if paris hilton was elected...for anything. i think that to be able to hold ANY office representing the people, you should have at LEAST a major in economics, especially one pertaining to national and international economics. if you're going to let these dumbasses handle our economy, they might as well be experts within the field. money really does make the world go 'round.
