  1. ok, I run windows xp at home on my laptop, and yesterday while I was running msn messenger and mozilla firefox
I got the blue screen of death :'( I rebooted my computer and after 2 reboots I got it running right :D
one problem, I have the latest version of FF (2.0.0.13 or whatever it is) and now it wont connect to any website
EVEN ROMULATION! now I know its a firefox issue not a website issue because I tried several sites (like google)
and nothing, it kept saying it could not connect to the website blah blah blah...
I tried reinstalling it and that didnt work either -.- any ideas?

does IE work? If not I suspect something has gone wrong with your TCP/IP stack

  3. oh sorry, IE works fine (I believe I have version 5 of IE)

right, well check your settings are right, and if they are try this anyway: open a command prompt window (click start, go to 'run', type 'cmd' and press enter). In the command prompt window type 'netsh winsock reset' and hit enter, then reboot.

  5. oh, I think I had a virus that stopped FF from connecting, but I removed like 7 viruses and it started working again ^_^
