[SNES Fan Translation News] Slayers "Finally" in English!

    Slayers was an action oriented anime back in the 90's, & although it was never as popular as Sailormoon & Dragonball Z were, it still has a story that's worth following.

    It's about this female magician named Lina Inverse who was feared by many because of her destructive reputation... that is her reputation of leveling towns down where ever she goes as she casts mis calculated spells at her enemies.

    She then meets up with an odd bunch of other characters & they form an adventuring party going on adventures finding even more destructive spells, as well as fighting hordes of PRG generic villains.

    And yes, I said RPG because the Anime's plot feels just like an RPG game similar to Magic Knight Rayearth's plot.

    And being as such, it's only natural that a gaming company like Banpresto would pick the anime's plot up & make a game out of it. Unfortunately, the game was only ever released in Japan, so you know what that meant.... Japanese scripts! :'(

    So we (I'm assuming fans of the anime, or any retro gamers reading this) can finally play it in English & know we'll no longer be clueless as to what's going on.

    EDIT/UPDATE:

    The patch isn't perfect as of yet, there are a few grammar mistakes in it & one instance at the first city you'll be going to has some text overflow issues with it.

    I have informed Dynamic Designs about this & they will release a final version 1.01 patch soon.

    I will post another update when the new patch gets released.
