Yeah I know this isn't really the site for this but it won't let me post on the official PS3 site, or I just don't know how to, so I decided to post this where I trust and know. Lately I've noticed that the PS3's downloading speed has been slow, not just for me but for my friends as well. I'm not completely sure of the reason but I think it may be something to do with the severe weather at where I live (Northern Ireland) but I want a second opinion on this. My connection is pretty decent and it used to take about half an hour to download a 1500MB DLC but I went to download the borderlands DLC collection and it said it would take 7 days to finish. I then after managing to download two of the DLCs, went on to Borderlands and I had to download the latest update which was 67MB and it took over 4 hours. So is anyone else suffering out there?
I say it's something to do with your net connection, are you all on the same isp? Is it normally stable? Done a speed test on speedtest.net?
I changed my provider a month back, and during that month I had the best connection I have ever had in the 3 years I've had my PS3. It was 6.0MB (download speed) and 324KB/s (upload speed) so it can't be that. Though even my friends who have never had any problems are beggining to suffer so it probably is the weather.
